He's just a prayer away.

I was glancing through my pictures when I came across this picture. I remember I saved it for the prayer list last year. Thank God I’m still praying continuously whenever I’m feeling down or just happy! I feel that God is our friend and we can count on Him for everything. He is there, since the beginning and till eternity!

I’m sorry I haven’t been updating for awhile, I have been really busy. I’m really thankful that I’m totally different this year, be it attitude or what. I feel that God is changing me into a better Christian, a better friend and a better family member as well. I’ve been trying to improve my attitude since this year onwards, as I was very negative last year. It feels really good to have optimistic all the time, as I can cheer up friends around me and be encouraged as well! God is really in my heart and I’m smiling ever more!

I realised that a simple gesture of care and concern can mean so much to a person! I was giving out chocolates/lollipops and letters to everyone to wish them all the best for MYE, and it seems that people are touched! I received smiles and hugs, and it’s not just because of that I am happy. But because, I know what I have done, encouraged them by at least 1% and they are happy at least for 1 minute! Thank God for making me able to stay positive and have 0% stress.

A few days ago, during Harp SYF, we got a silver. It was the saddest day of 2009 and I couldn’t let my emotions stop flowing. I felt anger, upset, sadness and helpless. But just then, friends around me came and started to pat me on the shoulder and tell me that it’s okay. People sent smses to ask if I was okay, and I felt that God was all around. He sent my friends to help me stay strong and feel better. Of course, I’m now feeling much better, although it’s still kind of sad.

Oh yes, yesterday while playing guitar, I flipped through my songbook and found a song very meaningful! It is actually a song that Hanyang laoshi shared to us during Sunday school one time and he actually played it on a guitar. Now, I’m able to play it out on the guitar and also sing along. Here are the lyrics:
